Do You Need a License to Drive an ATV in Florida?

An ATV can only be operated by a licensed driver or a minor who is under the direct supervision of a licensed driver.

Any individual below the age of 16 years, operating an ATV, must possess a certificate as proof of completing an approved OHV safety course unless they are not a resident of Florida for a period of fewer than 30 days.
