Do You Have To Register ATVs in Tennessee?
Because ATVs are not intended to be on highways in Tennessee, you are not required to register your ATV.
However, there is a requirement for a title, and a Tennessee Department of Revenue, of TDR, sticker must be obtained and displayed on your off-road vehicle.

Can You Ride ATVs in the Smoky Mountains?
Yes and No.
You can ride street legal ATVs in the Smoky Mountains including in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park section known as Cades Cove.

However, there are no public trails throughout the Smoky Mountains to ride.
Bluff Mountains Adventures offers guided tours through the mountains and you may also rent ATVs in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to enjoy the scenic drives.
