There are numerous hotels, cabins, and campgrounds in Pigeon Forge and equally as many in Gatlinburg. Camping in Pigeon Forge near Bluff Mountain Adventures
Just as with lodging, there are numerous campgrounds near Bluff Mountain Adventures.
This is our favorite campground in the Pigeon Forge area. While it is a bit more off the beaten path toward Wears Valley, it is for that reason we love it. The campground pads are wide and well appointed with complete electric and sewer hook ups. The camp sites are shaded and the grounds are well kept. Many of the Pigeon Forge campgrounds have great amenities, but are lacking in trees and shade.
Foothills RV Park & Cabins is also highly rated on TripAdvisor and offers full RV hookups with sewer as well as cabins on site. Other amenities include heated swimming pool, laundry facilities, air conditioned bath houses, and paved patios with picnic tables.
Riveredge RV Park is only 9 minutes away from Bluff Mountain Adventures. Family owned and operated since 1970, Riveredge has very high reviews. The facilities are clean and the property does provide an outdoor feel despite being so conveniently located to the main parkway. Full RV hookups are available as well as fully furnished cabins.
Dining in Pigeon Forge, TN Near Bluff Mountain Adventures
The list of dining near Bluff Mountain Adventures would take a whole new article to cover, but for the sake of brevity, I will list our favorite restaurants in the Pigeon Forge Area.
Mama’s Farmhouse: 6 minutes from Bluff Mountain Adventures
Come Hungry! That’s all I have to say about this great home cooking family style restaurant. Family style is my favorite way to eat all-you-can eat since it means this “mama” doesn’t have to get up from the table over and over. Instead, the amazing wait staff at Mama’s Farmhouse will bring you ample portions of fried chicken, meat loaf, honey glazed ham, potatoes, sweet potato casserole, fried okra, and those amazing cat head biscuits that we all love in the south! For a complete list of menu items and prices visit their website.
No one ever goes hungry in Pigeon Forge unless it’s by choice. Another quintessential Pigeon Forge eatery is The Old Mill Restaurant. The food quality isn’t as good as Mama’s Farmhouse in our opinion, but the ambiance and experience of eating on the Little Pigeon River in an old grist mill makes up for it. The Old Mill is one of those must do it once type of things.
The newest shopping, dining, and entertainment complex in Pigeon Forge, TN is The Island . There are several dining options as well as some great attractions to enjoy.

As we mentioned previously, The Island is Pigeon Forge’s newest shopping and entertainment complex. Spend at least one evening there enjoying dinner, tasting Moonshine at Ole Smoky Moonshine, or relaxing in the rocking chairs watching the Island fountain and light show.
