How Do I Stay On A Keto Diet While On Vacation?
I assure you, everybody struggles to stay on a diet while on vacation.
But with the right amount of dedication as well as keto food recipes that doesn’t taste like you’re on a diet, staying on track will be a walk in the park.
Here are some tips that we think will help you stay on a diet while on vacation.
- Plan ahead– If you are dining out, search for restaurants that are keto-friendly or choose dishes that will accommodate to your low-carb needs. Think non-starchy vegetables and grilled chicken. Don’t forge planning your keto lunches and keto breakfasts is important too!
- Bring your own food– When you’re on the road in your RV camper, you may want to stock up your pantry or fridge with low-carb food such as:
- Keto-Friendly Bread, Air-popped popcorn
- Peanut butter and other nut butters [We love Barney’s Almond Butter]
- Beef Jerky
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Low-Carb Tortillas
- Soy nuts
- Low-Carb Trail Mix or some nuts, seeds
- Always carry keto-friendly snacks with you to avoid temptations
- Stick on Low-Carb Alcohol – Just because you’re on a diet, doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun. There are several of keto-friendly alcoholic drinks you can indulge in, but of course, in moderation.

Keep in mind, however, that there’s nothing wrong with indulging a little bit on your favorite foods.
After all, you are on vacation to enjoy yourself and that includes eating some of your favorites- mindfully.
