San Francisco Cable Cars with family

SAN FRANCISCO IN A DAY

San Francisco is a fascinating city to visit. Unfortunately, our road trip was so full with so much to see and do, we only had about twenty four hours there. In California Road Trippin: San Francisco Day 1, I shared our adventures on our first day in this grand city. We did all the usual tourist things on the Fisherman’s Wharf. It was breezy and cold during our visit, but the sun was shining and we enjoyed our short time there.

OMNI AMELIA ISLAND

GETAWAY TO FLORIDA’S BEST BEACHES AT AMELIA ISLAND

Amelia Island’s Fernandina beach has become one of my absolute favorite Florida beaches! The island is 13 miles long and sits just over an hour south of two other favorite low country beaches located to the north in Georgia: Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island. We have stayed at the SPG Westin Property on Jekyll Island and can highly recommend it as well.

Morning in Monterey, California: Stunning Sunrise, Steinbeck Monument, and Cannery Row

When your three year old is still on east coast time, he gets up at 5:15 am in Monterey, California. Sneaking out so as not to wake the rest of the family, we walked out into the brisk cool morning, crossed the street from our hotel onto a very nice jogging and bike walkway, and were greeted with this stunningsunrise! This is quite a sunrise for my very first west coast sunrise! WOW!
