Is Pigeon Forge crowded in April?

Pigeon Forge is typically not crowded in April, with the exception of the Spring Rod Run weekend. During this event, the town can become congested due to all of the vehicle traffic coming in and out for the festivities.

The best way to avoid heavy crowds and traffic jams is to plan your trip around that specific weekend in order to enjoy a more peaceful visit.

If you want a different experience, we recommend you go between late April through the end of May, as there are fewer crowds to deal with.
