Is Pigeon Forge crowded in April?
Pigeon Forge is typically not crowded in April, with the exception of the Spring Rod Run weekend. During this event, the town can become congested due to all of the vehicle traffic coming in and out for the festivities.
The best way to avoid heavy crowds and traffic jams is to plan your trip around that specific weekend in order to enjoy a more peaceful visit.
If you want a different experience, we recommend you go between late April through the end of May, as there are fewer crowds to deal with.
How warm is Pigeon Forge in April?
The weather in Pigeon Forge in April is usually quite mild and pleasant. The average low temperature for the month is -55°F, while the average high temperature is -65°F perfect for enjoying some of the area’s many outdoor activities!
While it is possible for snow to reach the ground in April, the likelihood of this happening is low. Rainy days are also possible so make sure to bring your umbrella.
With its mild temperatures and temperate climate, Pigeon Forge is a great destination for those looking for a pleasant spring getaway!
