Laurel Falls Trail In Tennessee

If you’re looking for a great outdoor adventure that the entire family can enjoy, look no further than Laurel Falls Trail, Tennessee!

Laurel Falls Trail in Tennessee is one of the most beautiful and popular hiking trails in the Smoky Mountains.

Located just north of Gatlinburg, Laurel Falls Trail boasts stunning views of the Smoky Mountains and an easy-to-follow loop trail with moderate elevation changes.

Laurel Falls Trail is incredibly accessible, with a parking area located along Laurel Creek Road that provides easy access to the trailhead. Parking slots are limited, so plan ahead.

How long does it take to hike Laurel Falls Trail?

It typically takes around two hours to hike Laurel Falls Trail. The trail is a 2.6-mile roundtrip hike with moderate difficulty, with a few steep sections.

Along the way, hikers have plenty of opportunities to take in spectacular views of Laurel Falls.  The falls themselves are 80 feet tall, which is sure to take your breath away.

The path continues through the forest until it reaches Laurel Falls Bridge, where the Laurel River is visible below.  From there, it’s a short hike back to the parking area.

Safety first– be sure not to climb on the rocks. They’re slippery because of the mist and algae on them, and many people have already been injured from falling.
